“We must find time to stop and thank the people who make a difference in our lives.” ― John F. Kennedy
Here is a big thanks to all of you, who waited patiently for my “Gratitude Therapy” for last three days. I was busy with my college assignments (I am doing my PG) and was also not keeping well. But inspite of being unwell, I managed to write 6 assignments and sent them on time to my college. Now how could I do that? It was all because of the support I got from two most important people in my life, one my MIL and the other my daughter.
Marcel Proust, a French novelist, says that “Let us be grateful to the people who make us happy; they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.” Isn’t it true, we all have had times when we were lost, confused, stressed and totally depressed? Who was there with us that time, it would have been a friend, a colleague, our parents, siblings or just a random stranger. It could be anyone and let us today be grateful to all those people who are like angels in disguise.

I am truly grateful to my Dad. He was very strict disciplined and organized. I got irritated at times by his behavior, but trust me after marriage, this is what saved me. Being organized saves so much time and it also helps me in being productive.
-
I am truly grateful to my Mom. I never shared a loving relation with my Mom. She never showered me with love, because she wanted a son and unfortunately I was a girlJ. But it was just because of her, I learnt the importance of love and true caring. So mom, wherever you are today, thanks for bringing me to this world.

I am truly grateful to my Step-mom, she turned my life completely. We share a special bond, which no one can ever understand. She’s been my support during trying times. She is the most patient female I’ve ever met in my life. I’ve hardly seen her getting angry or losing her temper. I am grateful to her; for all that she has done and continues to do for us.
-
I am truly grateful to my sister. She is more than a sister; for me she is everything. She is my biggest motivator. She is one who always makes me feel, that I can achieve anything.
-
I am truly grateful to my best friends Smita and Prema. I am blessed to have you both in my life. You both are the biggest treasure I have.
-
I am truly grateful to my office colleagues, who are my second family, with whom I gossip, have fun and work. I have learnt a lot from each one of them.
-
I am truly grateful to my MIL. For the last three days, she didn’t even allow me to enter the kitchen and took care of everything. If not for her support, I couldn’t have submitted my Assignments on time.
-
I am truly grateful to my darling daughter. She saw my assignments and said, “Mama, aapko extra marks milenge, aapki handwriting very good.” This really was the best appreciation.
-
I am truly grateful to my hubby for being patient, for understanding me and also for giving his honest opinions.
-
I am truly grateful to my family. The small things they do for me, they matter a lot to me.
-
I am truly grateful to my blogger friends, for their inspirational blogs, which make my day.
-
I am truly grateful to my FB friends, who follow my post regularly. Some of them even asked me why I didn’t post for last three days. This really motivates me a lot:)
Thank you to each one of you for being a part of my life.
Don’t feel shy, express what you feel and be grateful for what you have.
If you wish to participate all you need to do is follow these rules:
-
For next thirty days write about the things you are grateful for (it maybe in your blog or in your personal journal, not necessary that you write ten things.)
-
Do post your link in the comment box, if you have a blog and have started this therapy.
-
You can even post pictures, in case you are unable to write.
Keep Smiling and be Grateful,
Gayatri

Gayu,
Thank God you are back. I was getting worried. We tend to take many such relations as granted and do not realize how blessed we are to have these.
Take care
