“As each
day comes to us refreshed and anew, so does my gratitude renew itself daily.
The breaking of the sun over the horizon is my grateful heart dawning upon a
blessed world.” – Terri Guillemets
Have you ever noticed the moment we are all set
for an outing, picnic, or a trek, we have boundless energy. We tend to be so
excited, that many a times we are unable to sleep the previous night. We need
no alarm clocks, no reminders and we are wide-awake in the morning hours. Why is
this so?
This is mainly because we are going to be close
to “Nature”. Nature by itself has a soothing effect on our mind and body. The lush
green fields, the huge mountains, the blue painted skies, the chirping of the
birds, the flowing river, the smiling flowers…all these help reduce stress levels
and boost our mood instantly.
Observing nature is a form of meditation in
itself. The tranquility of nature takes to a different world, far away from the
everyday chaos. The last weekend we went to one of such serene places, Kaas Plateau and Bamnoli .
I am truly grateful to nature and the gifts it
has bestowed on us. Let the pictures do the further talking, here we go on the
15th day of Gratitude Therapy.

If
you wish to participate all you need to do is follow these rules:
- For next thirty days write about the things you
are grateful for (it maybe in your blog or in your personal journal, not
necessary that you write ten things.)
- Do post your link in the comment box, if you
have a blog and have started this therapy.
- You can even post pictures, in case you are
unable to write.
Keep
Smiling and be Grateful,
Gayatri
Wow Gayu the pictures are so lovely and serene… I want to be transported there right NOW!
Will ear mark this locations as I am travelling to Mumbai on a 10 day long holiday and will look to visit this place for a nice cozy family outing 🙂
Ohh that's great when are you coming??? would love to meet you. Yes this definitely is a wonderful place, but in monsoons or just after monsoons. Kaas has these beautiful patch of wild flowers blooming just for 2/3 weeks after monsoon.
You can visit Bamnoli and do boating and you also get good home cooked food.
Gayu,
It is true that nature has such a soothing affect on one. The pictures said it so nicely as one can see how relaxed you all are.
Take care
Jack which are the places you have visited, would love hear some of your experiences.
