How we all wish to get that extra five minutes of sleep in the morning….hai na????? It’s the same with my 4-yr old. She feels very sleepy and it takes lot of time for me to make her get up…and get ready for school…so I came up with a competition. I told her that the one who gets up fast and reaches the bathroom first will get 5 kisses and 5 hugs…. I am innovative that wayJ
Phew….my daughter ran out of the bed and reached the bathroom first…and pat came the reply “Chalo, jaldi se 5-5 kissi and hug do…!!!!” I was all… “AWE….cho chweet”
This is the conversation we had
Me: Chalo, yeh lo appaka kissi…gave her one on each cheek.
Samu: Cheating…aapne bola…5…aur diya 2 (cheating, you told 5 and gave only 2)
Me: (Surprised…that she was actually counting), chalo…three moreJ
Samu: Aur hug…nahi diya (And hug…you didn’t give me)
Me: Come here….and gave her a big hugJ
Samu: Mamma…yeh meri favourite jagah hai….muhje bawaji nahi aake pakdega yahan. (Mom, this is my favourite place…no ghost will come and catch me here).
Her words made me wonder…and I was reminded by this saying. . “To the world you may be someone…but for someone you maybe the world”. So true…isn’t it????
Here’s are some pics which we had clicked while we were travelling to Goa…I like these pics…as she Samu is in her favourite place…in her MOM’s arms….!!!!!!
Yes, you look a proud mamma. There are ingenuous ways in which the kids are taught to follow good habits and you seem to know to mix fun with teaching.
Gayu,
May you both have wonderful time with each other.
Take care
