Those sleepless nights….

Changing diapers….
Solving the sibling fights…
She managed everything perfectly….
And never ever complained…
Have you wondered…what is it that she gained???????
She was always there…
To ease away your pain…
To get you the umbrella…
When it rained…..
Last minute homework which you forgot….
She always did it for you so that you never got caught…
From ABC…to….123….
Riding a bicycle to climbing a tree…..
The annual day preparations,
The competitive examinations,
The competitive examinations,
She was the one who always taught….
She made soup when you were ill….
Gave you an extra chocolate so that you munch that pill…
Made up stories so that you go to sleep….
Assured you things will be fine when ever you’d weep….
She saved every penny….
To give you the extra pocket money….
She did all this just for the love she had for you…
And one day you grew up and then you flew…..
To a different world….which she could not understand…
All of a sudden….she felt lonely and there was no one to hold her hand!!!!!!
There was a time when your life revolved around her….
Now you are busy….
And don’t have time to lend her an ear.
She endured so much pain….
To give this life to you…..
Spend some moments with her…
Even though it’s few.
What you are today is all because of her….
And she is none other than your “LOVING MOTHER”!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Mother…the word itself is so powerful. I am short of words….as I type this….
A soul who spends all her entire life raising her children…deciding on what’s right and what’s wrong….giving you what you need, preparing delicious food, staying up with you the night you study, giving that refreshing early morning tea…..

Samu wished me today morning….a small conversation between me & Samu:
Me: Samu, you know it’s mother’s day today….
Samu: Mama, happy mother day….tar aapan cake cut karuya ka (so can we cut cake??)
Me: Why???
Samu: tuzha happy aahe na (it’s your happy na!!!!)
For Samu, anything beginning from Happy means cutting cakesJ
Me: Tu mala kai gift denar….(So what are you going to gift me??)
Samu: Mi aahe na….mi tuzhi gift ahhe…(I am there na…I am your gift)
I was dumbstruck at her reply…and yes she is the best gift I can ever getJ
